Edwin Drevermann wasn’t killed by a drunk driver. He killed himself in jail after shooting his father in the chest with a 22rifle. The house was demolished (coates avenue north )and a development stands in its place.

Edwin John Drevermann Jr. was born to Erwin John Dreverman (1931 - 1978) and Blanche Elizabeth Paul (1934 - 1988). His father was born in New York City and his mother was born on Long Island, New York. He had one sister and three half-siblings, including Melody Cunningham (1958 - 2003).
His headstone says "Erwin John Drevermann" October 1, 1955 - April 22, 1981.
