  • Introduction

    Blossom was a take charge can-do woman who paved an impressive career for herself . Born Beatrice to Charles and Rose Rubenstein, she grew up the older sister and role model for Anita. Blossom married Murray Thaler in 1947 and together they had two children, Audrey and David. Blossom is survived by her children and grandchildren, Maxime and Jessica. Blossom, as her family so aptly nicknamed her, bloomed as a mother, daughter, wife, friend and business woman. She oversaw the accounting records for the family's clothing store and from there her interest and knowledge grew. Blossom became the Credit Manager for Alfred Dunhill of London and when they closed their New York office she went on to DuFerco Steel where she handled multi-million dollar accounts. Blossom is very much missed by her family, especially her children who celebrate her life today.

My mother died shortly after 911 and both my brother and I got to spend quite a bit of time with her over her last few weeks of life. She is missed by many, but none more than myself. Love you and happy birthday, mom. 12/29/20
