Curtis was the son of Jesse and Sybil (Hill) Liles. He never met a stranger. Dad worked most of his life, and only quit working when he physically could not anymore. He served a brief time in the US Navy with the CBs in the 1940s. However, he was in a critical accident that resulted in plate in his head, due to severe skull damage. I was not with him when he died, nor when he was buried.
