    Doreen Marie Wiltse, age 78, died at her home in Logandale on May 7, 2001. She was born September 12, 1922 in Glendale, CA to Harold Francis and Evelyn Mae Hornbeck Bergan. On October 16, 1943 she married Emery Delos Wiltse in Los Angeles, CA. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1992. Doreen grew up in southern CA. In 1976, she moved to Las Vegas before settling in Logandale in 1981. As a young woman she attended nursing school and worked as a dentist's aide for a short time. She loved and nurtured her family and delighted in watching them grow. Her pleasure also came from gardening, her animals, and reading mysteries. She enjoyed traveling, especially her trip through the Panama Canal. Survivors include her daughter Kathy and husband Cliff of Logandale; daughter Sue and husband Robert A. Price of Sandy, OR; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Jeanette Young of Los Olivos, CA. Funeral services were held Friday, May 11, 2001 at the Lake Mead Baptist Church Overton. Internment was in the Logandale Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Morturary.
