Dorothy Jane (Wilder) Condon of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas United States was born circa January 18, 1933 in Holton, Jackson County, KS to George Wilder and Claribel Taylor Wilder Clauser. She had siblings George Leon Wilder and Virginia Lou (Wilder) Cain. She married Robert Earl Condon on December 22, 1953 at Hemphill Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX, and they were married until Dorothy's death circa October 31, 2013 in Fort Worth. She had children Lynne Elaine Condon, Carol Jane Condon, and Brian David Condon. Dorothy Condon was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth.

    Dorothy Jane Wilder Condon, 80, died on October 31, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas. Dorothy was born on January 18, 1933 in Holton, Kansas, to George and Claribel “Sally” Wilder. After moving to Texas, Dorothy attended Paschal High School in Fort Worth. She earned a degree in Elementary Education from Texas Christian University in 1954. Dorothy married Robert “Bob” Condon in 1953 while he was on leave from the United States Marine Corps. They settled in Fort Worth, where together they raised 3 children, hosted 2 foreign exchange students, and added an array of pets to their family. Dorothy and Bob would have celebrated their 60th anniversary in December. Dorothy taught kindergarten and 1st grade for the Fort Worth Independent School District, influencing hundreds of students over the course of her 20 years of teaching. She was a Girl Scout Troop leader, and a member of Alpha Delta Kappa. For over 50 years, Dorothy was a member of Hemphill Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth. She then transferred to the 1st Presbyterian Church in Crowley, where she was an active member at the time of her passing. Dorothy enjoyed singing, playing the piano, reading, crossword puzzles, and everything to do with the outdoors. She played soccer and tennis, and liked walking, sailing, and traveling. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia Cain; brother, Leon Wilder; step-father, Don Clauser; step-brother, Donald R. Clauser; and son-in-law, Donald Clifton. She is survived by her husband, Bob Condon; five children: Brian Condon of Lakewood Village, Lynne Clifton of Chico, Carol Riley of Arlington, Sergio Savytzky of Brazil, and Kaija Laasko of Finland; three grandchildren: Connor Riley and Haley Riley of Arlington, and Cameron Clifton of Fort Worth; great-grandson, Quinn Clifton of Fort Worth; step-sister, Donna Haltom of Albuquerque; son-in-law, Randy Riley of Arlington, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and former students. Her beautiful smile, love, and joy of life will be missed by all. Celebration of Life: Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm. First Presbyterian Church of Crowley. Private Interment: Rose Hill Cemetery of Ft. Worth.
