Doshie and I worked together on the Letter Sorting Machines in the Los Angeles Post Office in the 60s and early 70s. She and two other LSM operators attended a baby shower I held when my daughter was on the way in the spring of 1971. Later that year, during a heat wave, I passed out on the machines during the break and was borne to the infirmary. After hours, Doshie alone went down to check on me. This was over forty years ago and I'll never forget it. It was only today (January 16, 2014) that I learned of her passing from another employee. She was one of the most cheerful and likable people I worked with during those years. I was saddened to learn of her passing. Rest in peace. - Robert L. (Bob) Brackney.
