From the 1946 "La Reata", Salinas Junior College, Salinas, Ca. Yearbook dedication to Dr. Eldon J. Gardner. It states, "In the classroom he enlightens his students through concise lectures. In his office, acting as dean of the lower division, he guides students in their school programs. Through his sincere efforts he has performed these two tasks with maximum efficiency.
