Born around 1437, Elizabeth Woodville was the daughter of Richard Woodville and Jacquetta of Luxembourg. She was the maternal grandmother of King Henry the VIII of England. She was maid of honor to Queen Catherine of Valois. She married at age 8 to Sir John Grey. Through him, she had 2 children. He died in 1461, leaving Elizabeth widowed. She got remarried to Edward IV of England and had 8 children, two of them being the princes in a tower. She died in 1492 at age 55.
