  • Introduction

    The daughter of Samuel Walter Darby & Mary Leah Embrey, Ethel was a native of St. Louis, Missouri. On October 28, 1908 she married Mortimer U. Harvey. They had three children Kenneth Mortimer Harvey born 1908 Saint Louis, Missouri, Doris Ethelyn Harvey born 1916 Elkhart, Indiana, & Richard Albert Harvey born 1921, Chicago, Illinois. In 1936 their only daughter Doris died in Chicago, Illinois. Ethel and Mortimer divorced and she married Arthur Reinberger June 24, 1953. The couple moved to Florida where she passed away November 24, 1965. She was buried November 27, 1965, next to her daughter at Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois
