  • Personal Life & Family

Frances was the oldest of two children. At the age of 29 years, she married John Joyce Kleaver, Jr. at her parish church. A full-time homemaker once she gave birth to their only child Patrick, she was a wonderful mother to him and a devoted wife to her husband. She retained a charming naivety about things and a childlike sense of curiosity and whether she understood answers to things that perplexed her or not, she kept being inquisitive throughout her life. She served as a volunteer tutor at her son's elementary school, and was known for her delicious cakes that she would donate at her son's school fundraisers. Even at the very end of her life, she retained her sense of humor and marvel at life. She donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology. Her body was later cremated, her ashes commingled with those of other body donors, and were then interred in the plot reserved for such donors. **NOTE: The Social Security Death Index INCORRECTLY shows Frances' last residence as being in "Montclair, San Bernardino, CA." She NEVER lived in California.**
