Frank was a kind, gentle man, who was loved by all who knew him. He was a successful farmer and raised his family in Vineland, NJ. In the late 1940's he began to train thorobred horses. Among his trainees were, Northern Bay, a 1st generation colt out of Northern Dancer, who won the 1964 Kentucky Derby. Alma North, was a bay mare out of Norther Dancer and a Grade 1 Stakes race winner in the early 1970's. Frank trained for Eugene Mori's "East Acres Farm" out of Vineland NJ until 1975 and enjoyed many victories up and down east coast race tracks including, Garden State Park, Monmouth Park, Liberty Bell, Pimlico and Hialeah. Frank became the General Superintendant for Garden State Park up until the day it burned down in 1977. Frank developed a rare form of leukemia by age 74 and, together with other medical complications, he passed away quietly at age 76.
