Captain in 167th infantry, 42nd Rainbow Div. during the great war. 1922 Bucknell University, Mgr of Athietics, head baseball coach at West Point, 1925-1937. NY Worlds Fair, baseball instruction exhibition in 1939. Returned to Active duty w/Army Air Force, director of Phys Ed. and training at Mitchell Field, Long Island until end of War in 1945. Director of Veterans Housing at Bucknell, 1947-1958 retired. He is in the Bucknell Hall of Fame.

    NY Giants, Pittsberg Phillies, Pinch Hitter, manager of Chattanooga Lookouts, Southern Assoc. Head baseball and basketball coach. Head Baseball coach at West Point. Received Medallion for baseball in 1908. His classmates in high school dubbed him "Moose" In college he was a 4 sport athlete, earning letters in baseball, football, track, and basketball, which earned him a place in the Bucknell Sports Hall of Fame in 1979.
