Herbert George Einstein was born to Solomon Einstein (1857 - 1909) and Millie Hausman (1863 - 1936). He had siblings Walter Sigmund (1885 - 1971) and Mabel B. Einstein (1888 - 1975). Herbert Einstein married Irma Brownold (1886 - 1955) on January 12, 1909, in New York and they had two children, Marjorie B. and Herbert George Einstein Jr. He then married Doris Friedenberg (1913 - 1984) in 1956 in New York.
