This photo was taken in the early 1940's at the home of Angeline "Angie" Daugherty Vertrees in Howevalley, Hardin Co., Ky. The girl is Lucille Pippin, daughter of Hassell Pippin and Alta Talley. On left is Hassell and Lillian Pippin, in the middle is Ova Vertrees and on the right is Herman Vertrees and his wife, Irene. Ova and Herman were the sons of Angie. Angie was the grandmother of Lillian.
