Mrs. Jan Garrison O'Valle Mrs. Jan Garrison O'Valle, 46, Houston, Texas, formerly of Murray, died Friday, April 7, 2006, at 7:31 a.m. at her home. Her death was from injuries sustained in a house fire. A graduate of Murray High School. She was a computer specialist and a member of Flint Baptist Church, Murray. She was born May 29, 1959, in Murray. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Burks and Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Garrison. Survivors include two daughters, Kristin O'Valle and Whitney O'Valle, and special friend, Adon Ortiz, all of Houston; two sons, Tony O'Valle, Sea Cliff, N.Y., and Jason O'Valle, Raymondville, Texas; her mother, Mrs. Bobbie Burks Chrysler, Mayfield; her father, Junior Garrison, Murray; three sisters, Mrs. Karen Garrison Rhodes, Highland, Ill., Mrs. Kary Garrison Rogers, Farmington, and Mrs. Sandy Garrison Gupton, Murray; four nieces; five nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Joey Adair and Rev. Sammy Cunningham will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

September 5th, 1981 In Louisville at my wedding party. Last time I ever saw Jan. A sad day for me after I heard about her death. I always loved her. One of the most special women I ever knew....A best friend.
