    (Ogden Standard-Examiner. Wed., May 14, 1980 p. 12 C. [Negative copy; photo included] "Mrs. Inez Forsgren Hess, 85, of Ogden, died Monday, May 12, 1980, in a local nursing home of causes incident to age. Mrs. Hess was born July 1, 1894 [ Insert: Some sources give 1892 as date of birth] , in Brigham City, a daughter of William James and Lettie Farley Forsgren. She was married to Gilbert R. Hess on Nov. 8, 1910, in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Oct. 10, 1977. She was educated in Brigham City and had lived in Ogden the past 68 years. She was a member of the Ogden 12th LDS Ward. She was a member of the World Affairs Club, Cosmopolitan Club, Women's Civic Club and Women's Legislative Council of Weber County. She was also a member of the International Relations Study Club, Ogden historical Society, Women's Conservation Council of Utah, Ogden District of Utah Federation of Women's Clubs and the Southern Pacific Old Timers Club No. 1. Surviving are one grandson, John R. Shupe, Ogden; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Donna Heed, Ventura, Calif.; Mrs. Celestia Lettie Peterson, Ogden. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery."
