Liddie Binkley died at age 92 years old on December 26, 2006 in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, CO, and was buried at Saint Matthews Cemetery in Dresden, Muskingum County, OH.

    Liddie Ann Neumeier was the child of Anna M. Prochaska (1889-1982) and Alois "Luis" Neumeier (1883-1942). She was born on August 12, 1914 in Lima, Allen, Ohio, United States and had two siblings, Mildred (born 1912) and John Neumeier (born 1919). On September 15, 1942 she married Carl Denver Binkley in Indiana, United States. They had 3 children together. About a year later, she joined the United States military on February 22, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio. After her time in the military she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and on December 26, 2006, Liddie Binkley passed away.

    Liddie A. Binkley, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, in Memorial Hospital, Colorado Springs. She was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Lima to Anna (Prohaska) and Alois Neumeier. On Sept. 15, 1942, she married Carl Denver Binkley, who died Feb. 7, 1981. She is survived by two sons, Gregory Binkley and Bruce (Robin) Binkley, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one daughter, Carol (Clif) Willis of Colorado Springs. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 at the Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville. Burial will follow in the St. Matthew Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1275.
