My Grandfather Ossie was Martin's brother. They were part of a family of four brothers who grew up in North Melbourne, where their father John was the sergeant of police. I have been researching the Loorham family for some time now and have been back to Ireland where I was welcomed "home" by my Loorham cousins. I understand that Martin was the first Loorham to go back not long before the war. I would be very interested to hear from any other Loorhams.
