Paul Joseph Andia passed away peacefully after battling brain cancer at the age of 55 on July 29, 2013. He was in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father Oscar. He was one of four children born to Oscar and Paula Andia in Brooklyn, New York on January 20, 1958. He completed his Associates degree at Queensboro Community College in Queens, N.Y with his concentration in Electrical Technology in 1976. That same year he began his 37-year long career at American Airlines holding various positions leading up to his last position as Director, Employee Safety. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and playing racquetball. He had a passion for Jazz and Latin music and loved playing his harmonicas. Paul will forever be remembered by his wife, Mary Ann of 30 years; Daughters Ashley Alexander and husband Matthew, and Noel Paula; Grandson Paul Anthony; Mother Paula; Brothers; Frank and wife Linda, Joseph and wife Susan; Sister Caren and husband Thomas. Paul left a footprint in many lives with his smile, willingness to help those around him and maintained his sense of humor through the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 2p.m on Friday, August 16, 2013 at St. Ann Catholic Parish, 180 Samuel Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
