Add Memories, Stories & Photos about Robert

My name is Yvonne Thompson. Robert Munro Bargh is my great grandfather. His wife, Florence Helena Bargh died in Bendigo, 1895 while giving birth to their daughter, also named, Florence Helene Bargh.

Florence Helene Bargh (daughter) married Steven Alexander Sayers in Bendigo (1914). She died in 1921 of the Spanish flu. Her baby died with her. There was another son, Steven who drowned in 1920, aged 5.

In 1915, my father, Leonard Alexander Sayers was born, in Bendigo. He was the only child to survive their marriage and was raised by his aunt, May Sayers.

My father, Leonard married my mother, Mavis Gwendoline Wilson in 1940. They had two children. Myself born in Dec 1944 and Paul born in Dec 1953.

I am seeking more information regarding Robert Munro Bargh and if he married after the death of his first wife.

I live South Africa and have minimal internet but you can contact me via:
