He Married Doris Rider. Don't know when, sometime between 1930 and 1935. They never had any children. I loved visiting their farm on jamison road. It was across the street from her brother's widow (Mabel Fox). Once I was walking in their pasture and stepped in cow pooh. I was wearing flip-flops :( Another time, one of their cows got out and went "wild", so my father had to shoot it. We got a lot of the meat--but if my dad knew we were eating the meat from that cow--he couldn't eat it. Either the cow was a "friend" or my dad had a hard time coming to terms with having to shoot the cow.
