Stanley Elmowitz, also known as Stanley Elmont, was born to Albert A. Elmont (1850 - 1946) and Evelyn (Davis) Elmowitz (1897 - 1990). His father was born in New York, as was his mother. Stanley had two brothers, Leonard Elmont (1920 - 1996) and Charles Elmont. Stanley Elmont married Maxine Seinfeld and they had a son, Stephen Elmont. Maxine survived Stanley. On his World War II draft card, Stanley was described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He had brown eyes, brown hair, and a "light" complexion. He was a volunteer at the Margaret Fuller House in Cambridge and the AIDS Action Committee of Boston and was a past president and a Paul Harris fellow of the Brookline Rotary Club.

STANLEY ELMONT, 67 Ran Coolidge Corner repair shop Services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Levine Chapel, Brookline, for Stanley Elmont, an electrical engineer who operated a radio-stereo repair service in Coolidge Corner for the past 40 years. Mr. Elmont died of a heart attack Tuesday in York Hospital, York Maine. He was 67 and lived in Brookline and Wells, Maine. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he served in World War II as a first sergeant in the Army Air Corps military police in Texas. Mr. Elmont was a volunteer at the Margaret Fuller House in Cambridge and the AIDS Action Committee of Boston and was a past president and Paul Harris fellow of the Brookline Rotary Club.
