His Mother Jean Kembery *maiden name Bradley )Came from Accrington and Father Upper Beeding. Our grandparents Grace Rose Kembery (maIden name Hill ) came from Brighton east Sussex -Grandad Pop, Frank Robert Kembery from Norfolk. The Kembery family name has a mamorieal of one of his brothers Jack Kembery in Swaffham Norfolk.

Steve came from Upper needing East Sussex a small quaint village surrounded by fields and farms. He joined the Queens Army in the 70s as a peacemaker to Northern Ireland until war exculated. PDST wasn't known then but though time he finally settled married to Karen Kembery. ( Second marriage) Had two children by his first wife Shaun and Samatha Kembery. Steve now has two grandchildren. His favorite place to be was fishing at the river Adur.

Steve wasn't one to go to church, however had some form of spiritual beliefs. It wasn't much spoken in our house hold were he would share his spirituality with people close to him.

Steve was a father as well as a self employed builder who successfully had his own businesses Circuit Builders as well a Susssx worm farmer. His own company. Stephen love was the army where he fought in Northern Ireland in the 70s serving his Queen and Country with the Cold Stream Guards. Coming home from war was a difficult time for him, trying to adapt back to Civvy Street was hard.Yet later went onto be a sussesfull builder and farmer.
Personal Life & Family

His Iove was his work, having a drink with the lads then going home to his wife. Fishing, Camping at the New forest. Steve and Karen had a worm farm as extra to his building career.

In order of age Kathleen, Steve & Frank Kembery Donald- with Cuz Nicky Tait:The black and white photo was taken out side our old home in Brook way Upper Beeding East Sussex.. Dad loved his old cars . In the main part of the Black and White Photo is Stephen Kembery . Nicky ( Cuz ) has fair hair and the female is me Kathleen Kembery taken in 1979 . The remaining family is Frank & the little baby in the car seat in the front is The youngest member Donald Kembery , Grandfather Frank Robert Kembery ( not seen here ) was from Norfolk .

Do you know where Brook Way is in Upper Beeding? My father lived there when he was a boy, but I can't find it on any modern maps. Has it been renamed?
