Stina Palsson boarded 3rd class with her mother and three siblings to rejoin their father in Chicago, IL US. When Titanic struck an iceberg at 11:40 PM, Alma thought nothing serious of the danger. During the time when women and children were boarding the lifeboats, Alma took her time dressing her children and going to the deck. Realizing the boats had gone, the family was last seen clinging to the stern when the Titanic was sinking. Stina's body was never recovered.

Stina boarded titanic to rejoin her father who already emigrated to Chicago, Illinois USA as 3rd class with her mother Alma and siblings Torborg (8) Paul (birthday on April 14, 1906) Gosta (2) then on April 14, 1912 the ship struck an iceberg at the North Atlantic Ocean at 11:45 pm then sank by splitting in two. Her mother didn't take the collision too serious (most passengers didn't understand the collision or took it too seriously). She took her time dressing her children until the ship was about to go down. the family sadly perished in the sinking.
