Pallbearers announced Pallbesrers for former Blackwellite Ula Haiflich will be Merle Young, Ivan Young, and Weyna Johns, Jr. Mr. Haiflich, 78, died Friday in Virginia. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Local IOOF cemetary under the direction of the Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home. Page 18 Journal-Tribune Deaths Former Blackwell resident Ula Haiflich, 78,.died Friday in a hospital at Galax, Va. He was a resident of Fries, VA. A graveaide service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the IOOF Cemetery. Rev. James Bell. pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will he under the dlrection of the Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home Friends may call al the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. Haiflich lived in Blackwell from 19l6 until 1946 and operated a sheet metal shop here. He was horn Aug. 15, 1898 ln Coffeyville. KS. He later lived in Florida, and for the past 3 1/2 years had lived in Virginia. He married Vivian Browning who preceded him in death in 1956. Mr. Haiflich later remarried. Survivors include his widow. Gussie; one son, Max, of Aubumdale. FL. two daughters. Mrs. Gladys Sherman of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Janell Guderian of Lakeland, FL., two sisters, Mrs. H. M. Young and Mrs. Flossie Johns. both of Blackwell: stx. grandcilldren and four great-grandchildren.
