The seat of the Kowzans is in the region of Wilno. Now spanning Eastern Lithuania and Western Bielarus due to the massive land grab and borders having been moved after WWII and Poland losing much of its historical eastern territories to the USSR in 1945. The Kowzan's originate from old Polish nobility, bearing the ancient crest of TRABY - meaning " the Trumpets". Three interlaced trumpets on a red field.
