Veda's maiden name was Quackenbush. My mother Gladys M Rogers (nee Hankin) was her cousin. Her father was Canadian - Quackenbush. Her mother was English - ? Hankin. Veda used to send parcels of clothes and food to my mother during the 2nd World War from Buffalo to the UK.
