I am the grandson of Johannes Nielsens sister Kristine Nielsen,who came from Ålborg area, Denmark.
In 1974 I visited Stella at her house at 2905 Hancock drive, Austin Tx. I saw for the first time in 1959, when she visited Denmark for the first time to see Johannes family. I saw Stellas daughter, "sissi" who at that time where 44 years old and married to Richard French, they have a son Walt and a daughter too.
Recently I have found old US letters from Johannes, old photographs from his first marriage with Lillian who where very ill, they live in Detroit plus many other cities. I have many photos from 1920th of the family, but lost track.
Johannes "John" immigrated the the US in 1915 ha was a painter and decorator, his son Paul Richard Nielsen have lived in San Antonio and perhaps also i Dallas Tx, but I have no address or other details whether his is still with us today.
I have a family tree dating back to 1834, when the first public records where set up, ole glass-plate photos of all family members etc. etc.the whole lot......
