Wilbur and Alice
Wilbur Mason Marrs, son of James Mulkey Marrs, was born 16 Jun 1920. He died 26 Dec 2000 in Boca Raton, Palm Beach Co., Florida. He married Alice Faye Carey on 4 May 1946.
During WWII, according to the National Archives, Wilbur was captured in the Philipine Islands on 6 may 1942. He was one of the U. S. Marines liberated on 5 Sep 1945 from Osaka. There were two other Marrs men, from the U.S Army, held in Osaka. Their connection to the family has not yet been established. They are Billy J. Marrs and L. D. Marrs.
