A.F. Clough, Theodore Smith, and S.A. Nelson
A.F. Clough, Theodore Smith, and S.A.Nelson (no first names given for Clough and Nelson - darn! Maybe someone will recognize a relative and supply them), on Mount Washington, New Hampshire, in 1871.
They are standing at the entrance to the Meteorological Observation Station. Brrr!
One is holdinga shovel, one is holding an anemometer, and one is holding a walking stick (an anemometer measures wind speed).
Clough, Smith, and Nelson were hardy souls!
