Alvine Kayser's First Grocery Store-1918
Elizabeth Marie 'Lizzie' (Kayser) Olsen, her brother Henry 'Hank' Kayser, and her husband Oscar Olsen, stand proudly before the WWI banner displayed in the window of their mother's store on Arch Street Pike. This banner honored Alvine's sons Charles and Louis, who were in the Army, fighting in France.
