Charles Edwin Hewitt 1850 - ?

A picture found by chance of my great grandfather, born in Orange County New York in 1850, married to Mianda Lathrop for a brief few years in the early 1870's. They had two children, Charles W. and Arthur Leigh Hewitt. Arthur was my grandfather and it is unknown among my family as to what happened to his brother, his father or who the parents are of my great grandfather. Arthur came west to Oregon with his mother (she remarried to Stephen Tillotson) when he was very young in about 1888. If anyone knows any information about these relations, I would appreciate any knowledge or contact about it.
