Col. William Henry Bonneau

Col. William Henry Bonneau, son of Arnoldus Bonneau and Mary Maybank, was born in Charleston, South Carolina Jan. 16, 1799. About 1820 in Charleston, SC he married Anna Maria Swinton, daughter of Hugh Swinton, Jr and Ann Jane Bruce Scott. Later they moved to Lowndes County, Alabama where Anna Maria died Nov. 21, 1863. William Henry Bonneau died in Mobile, Alabama Nov. 25, 1889. He is buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile. Children: William Henry, Mary Jane, Caroline Elizabeth, Anna Maria, Richard Vanderhorst, Edwin Alonzo, John Bruce, Susan Matilda, Hugh Swinton, Sarah Adaline, Esther Maybank, Peter Maybank, Arnoldus E, and Octavius.
