We are rearching the COPAL family from Charlotte Co. Va. Gg-grandfather, ABRAHAM COPAL (KOPPAL) from Germany. His birth was Feb. 22, 1822. He married PRUDENCE NEWCOMB on Oct. 30, 1844 in Charlotte Co., Va. PRUDENCE's parents were THOMAS NEWCOMB & POLLY/MARY HENDRICK- NEWCOMB, also of Charlotte Co. During this marriage 5 children were born. 1) Sarah Ann Copal-LINDSAY 2) Margaret Copal-WILKERSON 3) Fannie Copal-THOMAS 4) David F. COPAL 5) Kate Copal-NEWCOMB
