My Flowers family came to Halletsville, Texas in the 1850's from Smith County, Mississippi. The mother and father were Andrew Jackson Flowers and Catharine Collier Flowers. The picture you have posted looks a great deal like our Catharine, so I'm wondering if they could be kin? They would have to be cousins, because I don't remember a William Bannister Flowers.
