Enoch Hanks

This is a photo of my great-great grandfather, Enoch Hanks. He was born in 1824, and died in 1898. He grew up in Carroll County, Virginia, and married Martha E. Morris. They had seven children: William, Albert, Marcus, Cassander, Emily Amanda, Robert ("Bob"), and Mary.

I was wondering if Enoch is related to my family that was from/born in Carroll County,Virginia. My Hanks would be William Spencer who married who married Minne Brown Smith. If you have any info I would love to hear from you. My grandmother didn't talk to much about her side of the family:(
