Enos Augustus Fox

A photo of Enos Augustus Fox, my Paternal Great Grandfather. Augustus Fox (as he was always known) was born in 1841 and died in 1908. He was a direct descendant of Thomas Fox of Concord, Massachusetts through his paternal line and of George Soule/Sowle, a passenger on The Mayflower through his paternal grandmother, Anna (Sowle) Fox. He was an only son of Enos C. and Harriet (Moore/Gage)? Fox. Augustus was married to Amanda Orvilla Cooper and had the following children: Laura Mariah, Robert Dennis (my paternal grandfather), Sarah Anneliza, Nellie Viola, William Delbert, Bertha Jennett, George A., & Lena May.
