Felix Whitworth (here in 1857) was my GGGGrandfather, was a moonshiner in Missouri, shot a revenuer through the heart, made the NY Times in 1870 and ran off with a women other than his wife. Was caught, then escaped jail through a hole he and two other cellmates made in the jail wall and escaped, never to be seen again
