Fishkill Dutch Reformed Church
We know that Hendrikus Van Tassel was married to Metje Kraukheyt in the Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow (1731). They moved to Fishkill where son Hendrikus was baptised in this church 23 June 1736. He married Maritje Schutt in this church (1759) and settled in Little Falls. Their grandson Hendricks settled in South Hammond, Jefferson County. All of my photos are of his descendants.

I have been researching both my father's and my mother's side of my family history for about 7 years now. I enjoy it very much. It's like finding buried treasure...some good...some bad. It's still part of your family history.
