This is my 3X great grandfather. I am decended from his son Mack Major through Mack's daughter Rose. Thanks for posting the pic.

George Major
Photo is of George Major, son of John Major and Mary Polly Gault of Knox Co., Tennessee. George moved to Arkansas in the late 1800's & was able to secure some type of land grant; I have a copy of the grant but haven't looked at it for several years.
