Gleaner Manufacturing Company
Nothing is handwritten on the photo. However, the photo shows a "Gleaner" combine with the name "Baldwin" on it. The Baldwin brothers from Kansas decided to use the term gleaner for their self-propelled harvesting machine. The brothers' company went into bankruptcy in the 1930's and was taken over by William James Brace, who brought the company back. In 1955, Allis-chalmers purchased Gleaner.
