This is a picture of my great-great grandfather, Granville Delp. He was born in 1839 in Grayson County, VA. Granville enlisted in the Civil War on 2/15/1863 in Carroll County, VA. He was a Private in Company F, Virginia 29th Infantry Regiment. He was captured May 8, 1864 near Petersburg, was a POW at Point Lookout, MD, and died there of measles 3/11/1865, buried in the Confederate Cemetery.
