This picture shows Henry's mother, Sarah Hyde Mealer (seated beside Henry W. Mealer), his wife Menthia (standing behind Henry on his left) and her sister. The three young girls are (from the left) Sallie, Mable then Myrtle. Agnes, the other sister was not born yet. Menthia died four months after Agnes birth. She died on the operating table.
