Hon. Milton Jameson Durham (1824-1911)
Picture of my 3rd Great Grandfather, Milton Jamison Durham, donated by my Aunt, Martha Cobb Park-Lamb of Danville, KY. Milton was a 3-term Congressman. Most notably, he was the first Comptroller of the U.S. Treasury, having been appointed by the late President Grover Cleveland. A wonderful picture taken by famous photographer Mathew Brady in Washington, DC.
