Iva Williams was born on December 17, 1810 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky United States to James Mastin Williams and Nancy Ann West, and had siblings Louisa Williams, Jesse Williams, Mary Rose 'Polly' Williams, Stephen Williams, Amos Williams, Nancy Williams, Malinda Williams, James Williams Jr., Alvin Williams, Elizabeth Williams, and Warren Reader Williams. She married Edmond Meacham Jr., and had children Louisa Emiline Meacham, James Meacham, Nancy P. Meacham, Marion Delain Meacham, Calvin Wesley, Henry Catlett Meacham, Tillitha Meacham, Leander Q. Meacham, John Milton Meacham, and Alburn Watson Cash Meacham. Iva Williams died at age 84 years old on January 11, 1895, and was buried at Meacham Cemetery #3 in Fruithill.
