Born in Dahlonega, IA, she was the daughter of Gen. John Morrow/Caroline HAINES Hedrick; Granddaughter of John Wesley/Mary Morrow Hedrick;Gr-granddaughter of Nicholas/Catherine Orr Hedrick; and via her Gr-gr-grandfather Wm. Orr, DAR 53679, who served, 1778-83, in “Rangers on the Frontier,” when he settled in PA, from Ireland, and died 1820, KY.

She was the wife of Charles F. Ladd: b. 7-22-1856, Short Creek, Jefferson Co.,OH; d. 11-22-1883,Brooklyn, Kings Co.,NY, and mother of Howard Wm Ladd: b. 1882 and Caroline F. C. Ladd: b. 1884.
