Marshall Walker, Sr.
On May 10, 1903 Harriet S. Cox (the daughter of John C. Cox and Elizabeth Major) married Marshall Walker, Sr. of Blount Co., Tennessee.
Harriet and Marshall had been married for almost 60 years when Marshall died in March of 1962. His vision had grown progressively worse over the years, and I remember him reading only with the aid of a magnifying glass when we would visit in the late 1950's. Marshall's son (Marshall Walker, Jr) worked for years as a trucker until his death in Nov. of 1973.
