Mary Virginia Masterson
Mary Virginia Masterson was born October 15, 1901 in Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of Wesley Cline Masterson and Carrie Belle (Rouse) Masterson. Virginia married Harry Angevin Rider, Sr. on December 17, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Harry had a Masters degree from Harvard University. Virginia was widowed June 20, 1953 and became a housemother for Carthage College in Carthage, Illinois and stayed with them when the college moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin. She died September 15, 1990, just 1 month short of her 89th birthday.
