Maurice Himes was my Great Grandfather. His son Maurice “Red” Himes was my Grandfather. They both worked for Spicer Corp witch later became Dana Corp.
Maurice “Red” Himes was also a photographer for the Pottstown Mercury. In 1953 he was recognized for his photography skills by the Pottstown Mercury, and then again in 1954 for a Korean War-1954 photo of POW reunion with 7 year old daughter.
