Minnie Ester Griffis was the daughter of Joel G. Griffis and Nancy Henderson Griffis of Clinch County Georgia. She married Ira P. Mattox seen in photo. Minnie died Dec.15, 1921 shortly after the birth of her 4th child Ira W. Mattox. Minnie was buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville Florida.
